Are you always feeling overwhelmed? Especially when a new week comes around but you have so much on your plate but not sure where to start? If you are anything like me in that regard, then listen up and start here. I have a little (in terms of action), but big (in terms of results) game changer thing you can do to get rid of those overwhelming feelings every Sunday night, to have a less overwhelming and productive week.

It’s simple.

  1. Grab a book – notebook/journal/diary
  2. Brain dump – write down everything on your mind that you have to get done or just thinking about that’s coming soon. And I mean everything, leave nothing out.
  3. Prioritize the things that must get done that week, starting with what’s most important, what has deadlines, etc.
  4. Separate by day and choose the top 3 things you will focus on each day.
  5. Leave the rest for another week, depending on priority and repeat.

Andddd voila! Monday’s will definitely start feeling much better and you won’t be feeling as overwhelmed. How? Well, you would have everything you need to get done written out, separated by days, with the 3 main focus areas each dat. That way, you are not trying to do it all, because that’s just impossible and what actually causes the overwhelm. Doing this has helped me tremendously! I feel more organized and actually get more done because I’m not in my head stressing out about what needs to be done. I’m actually doing!
